(YLA-TSX Venture) Approval of a special resolution for subdividing (stock split) Lakota Resources' common shares on a 2-for-1 basis has been obtained at a special meeting of shareholders on Nov. 27, 2002. The TSX Venture Exchange and the company have mutually agreed to set the record date for this transaction as Dec. 13, 2002. Common shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 13, 2002, will be mailed additional certificates. The new certificates will be mailed on or about Dec. 16, 2002.
