A chart of Gold cycles relative to the S&P 500 and a chart of the price of Gold relative to the S&P 500 (courtesy of John Roque) clearly suggest an outperformance by Gold in the years to come.

As frequently outlined in our Gold Comments, our 40-year cycle suggests similar outcomes, since during the last 1/3rd of the 40-year cycle (1922-1934; 1962-1974; 2002-?) Resources (or "hard-assets") invariably outperform "soft-assets" (Banks, etc.).
