Can we Talk? V:
An email
to my daughter, age 33

My dear Lela:
Because I'm back in Canada, and you've got a lot on your plate,
I thought I'd make this email as short and simple as possible.
As you've learned this past two years, timing is everything.
A day late and a dollar short is still a dollar short. All best
love, Pops
Because
one picture is worth a thousand words
I decided to save us both some time,
so here are three crucial ones:

#1
The first
one, above, is self-explanatory,
and why I wanted you to buy some gold and silver,
which you did, at US$ 330.00,
because I don't want you to go through
what I did when I wasn't prepared for gold at $850.00!
And this
one is because
we've all been in debt to one degree
or another, but please note
the timing in it,
which is everything, of course.

#2
And this,
the third and final one,
is the "kicker,"
as some folks would say,
and I'm one of them.

#3
To wit: after
each peak in chart 3
there follows another smaller peak:
these were termed "recoveries" or "rallies."
After the
'29 Crash you can see it,
the sharp up-tick just before the second plunge.
In the Sixties,
there was a "double top"
followed by its Crash,
followed by another "recovery"
before its final plunge.
Finally,
you can see where we are now,
in what I call "Greenspanning"
at the tipping point,
2004.
